PROFILE

ENRIQUE P. ARBOLEDA has carved an extensive career in corporate communications and public relations with his over twenty years experience as PR practitioner. Prior to his present involvement, he was with the largest telecom company as Media Information Section Head until optional retirement in December 2004. He has gained experiences in the areas of PR, communications, corporate publications, audio-visual production, photography, multi-media. He is an award-winning photographer and recipient of “The Highest Achievement Award” from Dale Carnegie. He also has an extensive experience in cooperative affairs being the Vice-Chair of Publications of the Educational Committee joint cooperatives of PLDT. He is now an entrepreneur in food business, director and vice-chairman of the Total Development Multipurpose Cooperative and has recently set up a Media Consultancy Services firm.

IMMEDIATE PAST WORK BASIC SCOPE

Responsible for overall external communications activities covering the preparation and release of tri-media publicity and news materials of company activities in print for the press, video clips for TV programs and voice tape for radio;

Responsible for internal communications which includes production of company publications, newsletter, brochures, pamphlets, and other media information intended for company employees;

Sets timeframes and supervises actual work of gathering of information, writing, editing and forwarding of press and news releases about company activities to press and other media entities;

Reviews prepared or otherwise prepares drafts of news and photo releases, articles, speeches, overviews, letters to the editors, rejoinders announcements and notices and other editorial matters;

Oversees the maintenance of an up-to-date ‘fact file” or company and industry as references;

Maintains an updated directory of media personnel and allies for reference and consultant coordination;

Develops and maintains rapport and goodwill with mass media to ensure adequate coverage of company activities and favorable treatment of publicity materials.
