In 1992, I got my third PLDT Tuklas Talino Photography Contest trophy for my “Paa-mimingwit,” my very own Tagalog word concoction, translated as “feet-fishing” Theme for contest was “Worm’s Eyeview or Perspective, in gist entries should show anything as if as though viewed from underneath. I took this particular photo under a wooden scaffolding or a makeshift bridge made from coco lumber. The kids were playing in the area and I requested them to pose holding bamboo fishing rods with feet dangling. I positioned underneath the bridge while my feet soaking in a muddy murky water and rubbish. It’s worth the efforts, though.
